This exhibit is appropriate for people of all ages, including children over 3. It is designed to provide a look into a dinosaur’s life and uses innovative methods to help visitors grasp the enormous scale of geological time in the context of human evolution. Plus, visitors can use multi-touch technologies to compare their arm strength to that of a T. rex.
This exhibit also highlights the link between dinosaurs and birds, concluding that birds are much older than once thought. Most bird-like dinosaurs were thought to be from the Cretaceous period (145 million to 65 million years ago), but in fact, Archaeopteryx was found to be from the Jurassic period (200 million to 145 million years ago).
