Coming to a patio near you Spring 2021!
Artist Concept Statement:
Logan’s concept is about the importance of learning to connect with our forest spaces and individual trees in Waterloo Region. When we do that, we are ultimately learning how to connect with one another as individuals first, then as a whole community. Connection is the key to healing our pleading planet.
Reason for Participating in Art Fresco Public Art Project:
Logan saw the Art Fresco Project as a way to connect with the artist community and to themself as an artist.
Artist Background:
Logan graduated from Conestoga College with a diploma in Graphic Design. A struggle with their identity lead to a break down in 2012, and they found inspiration through being around local trees and forests, their son Gavin, their partner Dan, and from the local Buddhist community. In 2015 they came out as Non-Binary. Today Logan enjoys diving into the energy of local forests and they will have their first ever art show as their transitioned self at the Homer Watson House and Gallery in September 2020.
