Explore the truths of wildlife gardens with award winning author, Master Gardener, and educator, Robert Palvis, for rare's for Conversations for Conservation!

Native plants are a great way to support pollinators but along the way, gardeners have started believing a number of myths. This talk will examine some of these myths to provide a better understanding of such things as the role of nativars, butterfly houses, and pollinators that are not bees and butterflies. Which milkweeds do monarchs use? Do butterflies actually pollinate flowers? The role of non-natives in supporting pollinators and can natives be invasive? How important are dandelions and the no-mow movement?
