Join the FRIENDS of Waterloo Region Museums for a fundraising event– A celebration fusion of both the Chinese New Year and Scottish Robbie Burns Day, that offers performers and food tastings of each culture. This event is fashioned from a successful Gung Haggis Fat Choy in Vancouver. The name is Cantonese for “We wish you to be rich”!
Performers will include the fun and entertaining Scantily Plaid, the amazing Grand River Chinese Orchestra, and other talented special guests! Bagpipes, lion dancers, highland dancing, and more!
Refreshments include food and soft drink samplings from each culture.
