Led by JUNO-nominated and 10x Global Music Award–winning pianist Nick Maclean, SNAGGLE feat. The Ali Bros embarks on a bold new adventure: a dynamic suite inspired by Isaac Asimov’s Foundation saga. Dubbed “Canada’s answer to Snarky Puppy,” the group fuses the spirit of electric-era Miles Davis with the raw power of Rage Against the Machine, charting the rise and fall of galactic empires through sound.
Fronting the charge are Brownman Ali (trumpet) and Marcus Ali (sax), whose telepathic interplay drives the ensemble’s fearless improvisation. They’re joined by Jay Yoo (guitar), Matt Gruebner (bass), and Adam Mansfield (drums).
From moments of crystalline calm to explosive crescendos, Snaggle’s Asimov-inspired performance is a cosmic journey through jazz, sci-fi, and imagination itself.
