SUMMARY:Mini 1:12 Little Library
DESCRIPTION:In this 2 1/2 hour workshop\, participants will – with Briar’s guidance – create a miniature little library in 1:12 scale. Your library will stand less than 4″ tall\, and will even have a functioning door! Also included in this workshop are teeny blank books and a variety of popular book covers to fill your library\, along with a glass cloche for displaying your miniature masterpiece. This workshop is one of eight workshops in the Making it Tiny Workshops Series by the new Tiny Ass Art Gallery in St. Jacobs – 8 artists will guide participants in different media\, resulting in lovely small works to take home. Tiny Ass Art Gallery is a collective of 15 local women artists where art focusses on the idea of tiny.     Note: Located at Neruda Arts in St. Jacobs. SUMMARY:Glasstime
DESCRIPTION:Get creative with glass! Make your choice of a coaster OR window hanging. Each ticket includes 1 kiln-fired glass item. Our instructor will give a brief lesson on fused glass\, and the rest of the time is yours to create a one-of-a-kind artwork! Get creative with colour and texture to create a unique\, functional piece of art. During the workshop\, please photograph your artwork so you can identify it when it comes out of the kiln.  Artwork Pickup + Kiln Firing:Items will be kiln fired after the workshop by our team of studio technicians. You will be emailed 4-6 weeks after the workshop when items are ready for pick up. You can also check our website here to see if your pieces are ready to be picked up. Groups with children:Children aged 10-14 are welcome to attend the workshop as long as they are accompanied by an adult who also has a ticket. 1 adult can bring up to 2 children (all must have a ticket).
