DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Kitchener Panthers game versus Hamilton Cardinals at Jack Couch Park. About the Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) The Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) was formed in 1919 with Kitchener being one of the founding teams. The league has teams comprised of former professional and college players from North America and beyond. Each year\, teams in this league play a regular season of 36 games from early May to late July. During the month of August\, the IBL playoffs consist of a best-of-seven series\, leading up to the finals being played on or about Labour Day.In 2019\, the Kitchener Panthers placed 2nd overall in the IBL regular season. In the playoffs\, the Panthers defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs in Round 1 and the Hamilton Cardinals in Round 2\, but fell to the Barrie Baycats in the IBL Finals.
