SUMMARY:The Village Fair - Fair Trade Marketplace Pop Up
DESCRIPTION:The Village Fair is a new local not-for-profit exploring the possibility of establishing a fair trade store in Waterloo Region. This November\, we are hosting a seasonal pop-up in New Hamburg in collaboration with Ten Thousand Villages Cobourg.   Visitors can shop a varied selection of fairly traded\, artisan-made products from around the world\, including baskets\, ornaments\, home décor\, textiles\, candleholders and other meaningful pieces. Each purchase helps support skilled artisans and fair trade opportunities in their communities.   A featured attraction during the final two weekends will be a special collection of hand-knotted rugs. Created by skilled rug artisans\, these distinctive pieces reflect generations of craftsmanship\, detailed knotting techniques and the designs of the communities where they are made. The selection will include rugs in a variety of sizes\, colours and patterns\, offering shoppers an opportunity to see these remarkable pieces in person. Rugs will be available November 19–21 and 26–28 only.   The pop-up will be open November 12–14\, 19–21 and 26–28\, 2026\, at 112 Peel Street\, New Hamburg. Hours are Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.\, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come explore beautiful products with purpose and learn more about The Village Fair.
