Each ticket includes 1 glass votive holder that will be kiln-fired in our studio. Each participant will also receive a wooden block with a groove for their glass panel\, and a hole for a tea light. Our instructor will give a brief lesson on fused glass\, and the rest of the time is yours to create a one-of-a-kind artwork! DESCRIPTION:All are welcome to join us for an awesome day of games\, crafts\, treats and more at MCDOUGALL COTTAGE’S FUN-FILLED FALL FAMILY FIESTA as we celebrate our favourite season with fall frolics and Halloween high-jinks! There’ll be GAMES – roll\, toss and giggle your way through a game of pumpkin bowling\, take part in the scavenger hunt\, or challenge your gang to the skeleton hand ring-toss – CRAFTS – bring out your inner artist with some seasonal creations\, and TREATS – No tricks here! Every child who joins us\, will be gifted a special treat! It’s going to be FALL-TASTIC! Costumes are welcomed\, but if costumes aren’t for you\, that’s just fine too! And this is a great opportunity to check out our current exhibit “Snapshots in Time: Nostalgia and Memory” Please register in advance and then drop-in anytime between 11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (event runs until 3:30\, with last admission at 3:00 p.m.) Cost: Children (age 3 years and up): $12 plus HST; Accompanying Adults: $5 plus HST Tickets are also available for in-person purchase at McDougall Cottage during its hours of operation. Limited tickets may be available for purchase at the door.
