DESCRIPTION:  In this 2-hour workshop with Claudia Lambert\, participants will explore intuitive doodling/art on watercolour paper\, using flowing ink lines and watercolour washes.  Through gentle instruction and reflective pauses\, you’ll create organic forms that mirror the mind’s natural pattern-making\, supporting integration between cognitive awareness and emotional experience. No art experience is needed—only curiosity and openness. This practice is meditative rather than technical: repetitive line\, colour blending\, and mindful attention invite calm\, reduce mental noise\, and help surface and transform emotions in a safe\, nonverbal way. The lines may be tiny\, but the room to breathe enormous! DESCRIPTION:In this 2-hour workshop by Carolyn Parks\, you will needle felt 2-3 small pieces of 2-dimensional art (maximum 6″ x 6″ in size) on subjects of your own choosing! Finished pieces will be affixed to sanded cedar blocks for a unique display approach. All felting supplies and cedar blocks are included. The  cedar pieces are unfinished and you may stain them at home if you want a different colour finish. This workshop is one of the workshops in the Making it Tiny Workshops Series by the new Tiny Ass Art Gallery in St. Jacobs – 8 artists will guide participants in different media\, resulting in lovely small works to take home. Tiny Ass Art Gallery is a collective of 15 local women artists where art will focus on the idea of tiny both in scale and subject matter. Details to Note: This workshop takes place at Neruda Arts in St. Jacobs. Our instructor will give a brief lesson on fused glass\, and the rest of the time is yours to create a one-of-a-kind artwork! Get creative with colour and texture to create a unique\, functional piece of art. During the workshop\, please photograph your artwork so you can identify it when it comes out of the kiln.  Artwork Pickup + Kiln Firing:Items will be kiln fired after the workshop by our team of studio technicians. You will be emailed 4-6 weeks after the workshop when items are ready for pick up.
