Through a carefully held journey of gong resonance\, stillness\, and deep listening\, the experience invites the body to soften and awareness to settle — allowing the sounds to be felt rather than followed.  There is nothing to achieve and nowhere to arrive. Simply an opportunity to pause\, listen\, receive\, and experience what emerges when we become quiet enough to notice.  The evening closes with rose tea and dates\, offering space to gently return\, connect\, share\, or simply remain in quiet reflection.  No prior experience is required.  Especially suited to those seeking a deeper sound experience\, a moment of stillness\, or an opportunity to reconnect with themselves through listening and presence.

DESCRIPTION:As seen on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (twice)\, America’s Got Talent\, Conan (three times) and his FIVE stand-up specials\, D.J. Demers is a steady provider of laughs. His clever stand-up is both personal and universal and has earned him multiple appearances at Just For Laughs\, a nomination for Best Comedy Album at the Junos (i.e. the Canadian Grammys)\, and a growing legion of fans around the world. In 2024\, D.J. was the star and creator of the beloved half-hour comedy series\, One More Time. It was nominated for nine Canadian Screen Awards\, including Best Comedy Series. DESCRIPTION:Join the Waterloo Regional Labour Council for the Ed Weidinger Memorial Labour Day Picnic on Monday\, September 7\, 2026. The event will be a celebration of workers\, families\, and community\, taking place at Waterloo Park near the Westmount Road entrance from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The picnic will feature food\, drinks\, live music\, inflatables\, face painting\, and balloon artists. There is no entrance fee but food items will be for sale. All proceeds will go to the United Way Waterloo Region Communities.
