SUMMARY:The Buena Vista Orchestra
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the irresistible rhythms and timeless melodies of Cuba as The Buena Vista Orchestra takes the stage in a spectacular tribute to one of the most celebrated musical movements in the world. Often associated with the legendary Buena Vista Social Club tradition\, this acclaimed ensemble brings together an extraordinary lineup of musicians who have performed with icons such as Celia Cruz\, Omara Portuondo\, Chucho Valdés\, Willie Colón\, and the Afro-Cuban All Stars. Together they honour the rich musical heritage that introduced audiences worldwide to the soulful sounds of son\, bolero\, and Afro-Cuban jazz. At the heart of the orchestra is virtuoso Cuban violinist Rolando Morejón Reyes\, a celebrated bandleader whose remarkable career includes performing with artists and ensembles such as Omara Portuondo\, Oscar D’León\, Cachao López\, and the Orquesta de Enrique Jorrín. Joining him is a stellar group of internationally respected musicians\, including trumpeter Antonio Perigo\, percussionist Miguel Valdés\, pianist Helder Rojas\, trombonist Yosmel Garceran\, and Latin Grammy–nominated percussionist Pepe Espinosa\, among others.   Together\, they deliver a vibrant concert experience filled with dazzling solos\, irresistible rhythms\, and the joyful energy that has captivated audiences across the globe. The Buena Vista musical legacy has sold millions of records\, inspired documentaries and theatrical productions\, and continues to introduce new generations to the beauty and passion of Cuban music.   This is more than a concert. It is a celebration of a cultural phenomenon that has become the most beloved and internationally recognized Cuban music project of all time.
