This in-person event offers a unique opportunity to engage with the mysterious and unexplained in a captivating setting in one of 4 tours. You join the The Ontario Paranormal Society in conducting an investigation into the paranormal activies of our 128 year old building. The group will be lead through a tour of the Fire Hall Museum with Paranormal investigations explained and conducted in different areas. This tour is different than the one that was offered last year.The 11:00 tour will include an Ouija Board session. Climbing a staircase is part of the tour and guests must be able to climb stairs unassisted as the building is not wheelchair accessible. We look forward to welcoming all enthusiasts of the paranormal and local history alike.

DESCRIPTION:Come on out and try Kinusaiga! This easy and beginner friendly craft is based on the Japanese art form where fabric is used to make a quilt like painting. A variety of patterns and mounds of fabric in all colours ensure each piece is unique to you. Fully guided with history\, technique and materials covered. This class is a little bit longer in order to provide extra time for a more complex piece to be created. Cold drinks and a variety of desserts will be provided during the afternoon. In this live event\, Sherry will validate messages from loved ones who have crossed over to members of the audience and educate them that our loved ones are always with us.    She creates a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere in order to ensure a peaceful and spiritual experience. She continues to encourage her sceptics to not let discomfort prevent them from receiving validation and loving messages from their loved ones who have crossed over. Sherry brings comfort\, hope and closure to people who are grieving the loss of their loved ones.  She continues to help countless people. Having suffered a tremendous amount of grief herself\, Sherry understands the emptiness inside.  Her inspiration and motivational communications with the spirt world has truly been unbelievable.Validating messages to those grieving and helping them find peace is the most rewarding for Sherry.  The closure and comfort her clients find is what keeps Sherry moving forward feeling fulfilled and grateful to have such a special gift.

Human Library Ticket holders will have the opportunity to participate directly in the Human Library – sitting down for intimate\, small-group conversations and hearing stories from several different Human Books throughout the allotted time slot. Each conversation offers a chance to listen\, ask thoughtful questions\, challenge assumptions\, and leave with a new perspective. Beyond the Human Library\, all General Admission/Community Connection attendees can enjoy: Community Table – A welcoming\, low-pressure space to meet other attendees\, make connections\, and build community. Photography – Get portraits taken by our content creator/photographer on your own or with friends\, family\, or someone you meet at the event. Book Swap – Bring a pre-loved book and exchange it for something new-to-you. Please bring books in good\, readable condition. Café – Both for purchase and free snacks and drinks will be available throughout the event. Cozy Corner – A quiet space to decompress\, relax\, or take a breather from the activity as needed. Kids Area* – A supervised kids table will be available as an additional support for families attending the event. *Parents and guardians remain responsible for their child/children at all times. The kids area is intended as an additional support and activity space\, and is not a replacement for parental or guardian supervision. The Together For Nature Tour creates space to hear directly from Indigenous land protectors and youth leaders about what is happening in their homelands\, why it matters and how communities across Ontario can work together to support nature\, Indigenous rights and a healthier future for all.  The organizers are inviting people to hear from Okiniwak\, Here We Stand\, and the Friends of the Attawapiskat River to amplify the voices of Indigenous youth and land protectors from Northern Ontario. In addition\, Inuk singer-songwriter Susan Aglukark will be performing.
