How does the program work?

Promotion is valid for a minimum 2-night (consecutive) stay in Waterloo Region, Ontario. There is no maximum hotel booking required.

Guests will choose from one of the participating hotels below, click through to the hotel booking page and secure their stay using the indicated promotion code. Be sure to read through the hotel packages as some partners have offered further value and incentives.

This offer is only valid for new bookings of a minimum 2-night stay made for arrivals between November 12, 2021 – March 31, 2022 at participating hotels. Please note that this promotion is a limited time offer and while supplies last. Rates and conditions vary and are set by and at the discretion of the participating hotel.

How do I book my stay?

Visit and view the packages being offered by participating accommodation partners. Choose the location you’d like to stay at and click through to complete the reservation with that accommodation partner (or call the location directly to book by phone). You’ll receive your $100 card upon check-in. 

Do I need a promo code to book? If so, where in the booking process will I enter this?

Please review each accommodation partner’s package in detail. Some require promotional codes to book, while others will have a direct link to the promotion being offered. 

Can I use my VISA card to pay for my hotel?

No, your VISA card cannot be used to pay for your accommodation room reservation but may be used at the hotel for other services such as food and beverage. 

If for some reason my VISA card does not work when I am trying to use it, who do I call?

You can call the customer service line at 1-800-624-6171, visit explore or email[email protected]  

Does the Visa card require a signature or pin?

No pin necessary. It is best to swipe the card where possible. The card will require a signature on the back for it to be valid and a signature may be requested by the merchant on the receipt. 

Can anyone use the VISA card, or is it registered in my name?

Anyone can use the card. Replacement will not be provided for lost or stolen cards. 

Who do I speak with if I have an issue or complaint regarding my booking or stay?

You can deal directly with the accommodation partner with whom you have booked your stay (or are staying at currently). 

What if I check in and receive my VISA card but can’t stay for the second night? Can I get a refund for the second night?

No, your second night is nonrefundable once you’ve received your VISA card at check-in.

Can walk in consumers purchase this package at the front desk?

That would be at the discretion of each accommodation partner as there is limited availability.
