BRIDGE Centre for Design + Architecture is an initiative committed to engaging the Waterloo School of Architecture, community members and broader network through Art, Design and Architecture in Cambridge.
Founded in 2012, BRIDGE is led by a team of committed graduate and undergraduate students of the University of Waterloo’s School of Architecture. They are responsible for facilitating the development, publication and exposure of student projects and community initiatives. New ideas, contributors and collaborators are always welcome.
BRIDGE also features a multi-purpose space known as the Storefront that can be used for lectures, workshops, meetings, gallery shows, and various other events. Exhibitions, coffee house performances, night markets, community discussions and trivia nights are just some of the events that have taken place at the venue.BRIDGE’s website is a platform for showcasing student projects and initiatives, events and announcements, and for sharing great work. It creates a dialogue between designers, artists, architects and citizens, and encourages the sharing of thoughts, ideas, experiments and work.
