Welcome to Puddicombe House in New Hamburg, where guests will enjoy elegant indulgence while in the comfort of a beautiful vintage home. Built in 1868 by Samuel Merner, a prominent New Hamburg businessman and politician, this Italianate styled house is home to 6 luxurious guest rooms, a spa and hair salon, and Puddicombe House Restaurant. The recently completed Puddicombe Banquet and Reception Hall is also located on site and can host a range of events.
Guests staying at Puddicombe House will be treated to comfort, luxury and the best sleep they’ve ever had! Whether staying in Puddicombe’s Jackson Room featuring a king-size canopy bed, the Cressman Room with its Pineapple 4-post queen size bed, or the Puddicombe Room with an antique settee and bay window, wake up refreshed and ready for the day ahead. Additional room amenities include air-conditioning, flat screen televisions, ensuite bathrooms, wi-fi, and most feature a gas fireplace. There are also two luxury cottage rooms on the property, featuring ensuite bathrooms with rain head showers.
The Puddicombe Banquet and Reception Hall is available to host any number of events. Located behind Puddicombe House, the hall was architecturally designed to complement the original building. With 2 fully-equipped meeting rooms seating a total of 225 guests, both rooms feature theatre style set up, with visual and sound capabilities. Guests will enjoy their day while sitting in the plush meeting room chairs. Catered meals can be arranged with Puddicombe’s kitchen staff.
The hall is also the perfect backdrop for weddings and other special occasions. All-inclusive wedding packages are available that include accommodations in the Bridal Suite for the day of the wedding (if available). Let the experienced reception hall team assist in planning weddings, as well as other family or corporate events. Contact Puddicombe House for more details.
