It’s time to Meet in Waterloo Region

As a hub for business innovation, global expertise and education, Waterloo Region is uniquely positioned to attract business meetings and conferences from across the country and around the world. Our sport hosting infrastructure also makes this region a front runner for provincial, national and world-class sporting events. All of these events not only inject much needed dollars into our travel and hospitality businesses, they are also a source of positive long term community impacts, improving the lives of residents and elevating Waterloo Region on a global level.

Influential members of our local business and sports communities are in a position to help bring meetings, conferences and events to our region by motivating their company’s associations and professional organizations to hold their meetings in Waterloo Region. That’s what we call our Hometown Advantage.
