Leadercast Returns to Cambridge

The World’s Largest Leadership Event Returns to Cambridge on Wednesday, January 31, 2018

WATERLOO REGION – The World’s Largest Leadership Event is back by popular demand!
Drayton Entertainment and the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce will once again team up to
host Leadercast, an educational event aimed at developing leaders across all industries and at
any career level, so they are better equipped to take on the next challenge and inspire others. The
2018 event will be streamed live at the Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge (formerly Dunfield
Theatre Cambridge) on Friday, May 4.

Broadcast live from Atlanta and simulcast to hundreds of locations around the world, Leadercast
is the largest, one‐day leadership event on the planet. The unique event is in its 17th year and
brings together more than 100,000 current visionaries and future world‐changers annually.
The theme of this year’s conference is Lead Yourself.  The world is looking for great leaders. In
order to become those leaders, we have to first discover the best ways to lead ourselves. We must
walk the walk before we talk the talk. In 2018, Leadercast will focus on the core principles of self‐
leadership: How do you motivate yourself effectively? How do you develop your core values and
tools so that your leadership style continues to inspire you and your team?

Over the course of the day, Leadercast attendees will develop tools to reconnect to their
organization’s “why”, and attract and engage staff to thrive as a team. Keynote speakers will
motivate participants with insights, enthusiasm and real‐world advice. Who better to learn from
than people who’ve met similar leadership challenges and succeeded mightily?

• Dr. Jim Loehr, Chairman, CEO and Co‐founder of Human Performance Institute
• Mae Jemison, Engineer, Physician and NASA Astronaut
• Additional speakers to be announced.

For years, Leadercast has brought people together and equipped them to become better leaders,

Seating is limited for this one‐day event. Lunch is included. Organizations and entrepreneurs are
encouraged to book their tickets now! The early bird discount rate of $100 is available until
February 16. After February 16, regular tickets are $125. Taxes are not included.
