July 22, 2019 – On July 18, 2019, the Location Managers Guild International (LMGI) announced the nominations for the 2019 LMGI Awards. We are pleased to announce that the City of Cambridge has been nominated for an award in the category of “Outstanding Film Commission/Office”, for exemplary service to the film industry. Cambridge is the first Canadian office to have received a nomination for this prestigious award, and past nominees for this honour include: Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York State, Vietnam, Iceland, Berlin and the Royal Film Commission of Jordan. The 6th Annual LMGI awards will be held in Santa Monica, California on Saturday, September 21, 2019.
