January 20, 2020 –  Wilfrid Laurier University has announced it is being recognized as one of ‘Canada’s Top Employers for Young People’ in 2020.
On Friday, Jan. 17th, Â Mediacorp Canada Inc. revealed the names of 100 organizations across Canada who have been chosen for their efforts to attract and retain young workers.
According to a press release from the university, these efforts include offering benefits like tuition assistance, mentorship and training programs, flexible work options and paid personal days off.
Laurier is one of two post-secondary institutions to make the list for its benefits, including paid vacation time for new employees and tuition subsidies for continuing education.
