Andy McGeoch

Table Location:
Coming to a patio near you Spring 2021!
Artist Concept Statement:
Andy’s vision for the table was to bring it to life with bright colours and abstract, three dimensional shapes.
Reason for Participating in Art Fresco Public Art Project:
Though Andy’s wife has called Waterloo Region home for most of her adult life, Andy is new to the area. He and his young and growing family are settled after their move to the region, and Andy is excited to branch out as an artist! The Art Fresco Project presented an opportunity to get involved and network in the amazing arts and culture community that exists in the region.
Artist Background:
Growing up in California, Andy began his artistic journey as a street artist and has evolved to include work in the forms of canvas, murals, graffiti, street art, mixed material and apparel. He is a self-taught artist and inspired by non-conforming concepts, including topics such as mathematics, nature, and urban environments. Andy’s art is abstract, precise, colorful and geometric and aims to create order out of chaos, and chaos out of order. He has been practicing his art for 9 years, exhibiting for 5 years, and recently became a full-time artist.
