Moyers Landing to Riverbluffs Park on the Grand River, Cambridge
This seven-kilometre route is a great introduction to canoeing and kayaking due to its lack of rapids.
William Scott Park on the Nith River, New Hamburg
Travel upstream and back for several kilometres on the river on flat, winding waters.
Laurel Creek Conservation Area on the Laurel Creek Reservoir, Waterloo
The reservoir near the University of Waterloo is a great place to quietly canoe or kayak.
Shade’s Mills Conservation Area on Mill Creek, Cambridge
This conservation area has 12 kilometres of hiking trails that cut through hardwood trees.
