Legacy Greens

Beginning as a local pop-up produce shop, Legacy Greens is now a permanent staple in DTK. They specialize in fresh produce, local foods, eggs, dairy, healthy grab-and-go snacks, made-from-scratch meals, and food-focused gifts with pickup and delivery options.
Legacy Greens offers produce box subscriptions that include the best veggies that each season has to offer. They usually sell out, so make sure you sign up early!

Kitchen Kuttings

40 Arthur Street South, Elmira, ON N3B 2M5

Kitchen Kuttings, established in 1989, is a gourmet food shop located in downtown Elmira. The shop is famous for their homemade summer sausage and fresh cheese curds and specialize in locally sourced meats, cheeses, preserves, sweets, and baked goods. You’ll also find a great selection of prepared foods and frozen meals to go!
The store also hosts a café and patio where patrons can order from a selection of made-to-order sandwiches and wraps.

Cafe Pyrus Outpost

150 Roger Street, Waterloo, ON N2J 1A9

Cafe Pyrus Outpost is open during the week for walk-up shopping but also offer the option to pre-order and then pick up your goods on Saturday morning.
Their shop features baked goods, coffee beans from local artisan roasters, and at the time of writing they also offer baking staples (flours, sugar, yeast), organic dairy and dairy alternatives, fresh pressed juices, local maple syrup, Fresh Bread from Grain Harvest Bread House. Check out their mini-market on Saturdays from 9-1!

Vincenzo’s has been around for over 50 years and has changed and grown over the past decades. They are well known in the region for their selection of homemade specialties and hard to find products from around the world. They offer pick-up, delivery, and online ordering. Vincenzo’s also includes a Butcher, Flower Shop, Seafood, Sushibar, Gelato Bar and Cafe and they’re well known for having the best sandwiches around!

Local Farmers’ Markets

Waterloo Region is home to an abundance of farmers’ markets giving residents even more options to shop local. Year round markets include The Kitchener Market, The Cambridge Market, and St. Jacobs Market, but each township in Waterloo Region is home to a seasonal market as well.
