Baden’s top landmark and National Historic Site will be open on Saturday, Aug. 29 after it closed its doors in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. The gradual reopening will include weekends, while all COVID-19 protocols will be in place.
During the 35-minute guided tour, experienced Castle Kilbride staff will showcase their newest exhibit, My Dearly Departed, which opened just one day before the museum was directed to close. This comprehensive and intriguing exhibit highlights the 100th anniversary of the death of Canada’s Flax Mill King and owner of Castle Kilbride James Livingston, along with fascinating Victorian mourning customs and traditions, said the release.
