The hotels and venues of Waterloo Region are ready to host your business event or conference. Many changes and additions have been made to our venues, including the all-new Tapestry Hall in Cambridge and the Hampton Inn in St. Jacobs. In Kitchener, the DoubleTree hotel has renovated its meeting space and rooms extensively, while the Cambridge Hotel has added a new event space called The Venue.
Here are six new and updated venues for your Waterloo Region Event:
Bingemans is the largest event venue in Waterloo Region, with over 40,000+ square feet of flexible space. It is the perfect venue for any event, from weddings to corporate barbeques to company team-building events. The Riverside Event Space is a private, quiet outdoor area that runs along the banks of the Grand River—but close enough to the main Bingemans space with the Kingpin Bowling Lounge.
The newest event venue in Waterloo Region is Tapestry Hall in Cambridge. The venue comprises two rooms that can accommodate conferences, events, and weddings. Their Main Room can be configured to host up to 1,000 people, and the Tap Room can host up to 200 guests. Tapestry Hall is a full-featured venue and can provide planning services, décor, technical production, and curated menus to ensure your event is fantastic.
The Walper Hotel by Hyatt
From weddings to business events, galas to cocktail receptions, The Walper Hotel has been one of the most sought-after venues for over a century. In 2021, The Walper Hotel joined the JdV by Hyatt brand to enhance their guest experience while keeping the operation locally managed. All their event spaces feature natural light, including the popular Lokal Lounge, a hip and trendy venue connecting their event spaces.
DoubleTree by Hilton
With convenient access to local highways and the Waterloo Region International Airport, the DoubleTree Kitchener is ready to welcome your guests or attendees from across the globe. The hotel is completing significant renovations, and when completed, the DoubleTree Kitchener will be the largest full-service hotel in the region. The hotel has recently completed renovations of their on-site restaurant, Arbor Kitchen and Bar, providing guests with various North American dishes fused with Caribbean and Asian influences.
Hampton Inn by Hilton
Another new venue in Waterloo Region is the Hampton Inn St. Jacobs. The hotel opened its doors two years ago to welcome business guests attending events or tourists looking to discover new tastes and treasures in historic St. Jacobs Village. The hotel features 108 guest rooms, two meeting rooms, and a new restaurant—Das Bar.
Cambridge Hotel & Conference Centre
The Cambridge Hotel has opened a renovated event space named The Venue, a multifunctional room that can accommodate everything from lavish weddings and birthday parties to corporate events. The Venue is a stand-alone event space that offers natural light, a built-in bar, an on-site kitchen, and a private patio. You can choose full or half-day meeting packages that include room rental, food and beverage, and in-house AV—all under the care of a person catering manager. The Cambridge Hotel is located just off Highway 401 with access to London and Toronto.
