March 15, 2024 – The Kitchener Rangers’ Chief Operating Officer, Joe Birch, has just signed a contract extension with the club for another 5 years.
“I’m really grateful,” said Birch, a former defenceman who played parts of two seasons with the Blueshirts in the mid-1990s.
“I’ve always loved being a Ranger. I’m excited for the future of what we have going on from a hockey side and things we can do on a business side.”
And Birch expects to be busy over the next five years.
He wants to grow the fan base, increase the team’s impact in the community and watch the Rangers win a Memorial Cup at the Aud.
