New Year’s Eve Party
This family-style New Year’s Eve party is part of the Cambridge Winterfest celebrations. New Year’s Eve is an evening packed with free activities for all ages on and off the ice at the Hespeler arena. Festivities include ice skating, a Turbo Max inflatable obstacle course, live entertainment with Team T & J, games and more. The concession stand will be open with snacks for sale.
Note this year’s new location: all of the fun happens at the Preston Memorial Auditorium from 3pm – 7 p.m. (doors open at 2:30 p.m.)

New Year’s Eve | A family-friendly celebration
UpTown Waterloo plays host to its annual New Year’s Eve celebration with fun for all ages. Beginning at 6 p.m. at Waterloo Public Square, it features skating outdoors at the UpTown Rink, crafts for the kids, and entertainment. A great event for even the youngest revellers; all of the events wrap up by 9 p.m.

Family New Year’s Eve at FunworX and Kingpin Bowlounge
Head to Bingemans where your family can choose from 2 great packages to enjoy New Year’s Eve. The FunworX package includes admission for a family of 4, access to the play structure, the ropes course, arcade cards, and more. The family of 4 Bowling Package includes 1 hour of bowling at Kingpin Bowlounge, access to the play structure, arcade cards, and a large Boston Pizza family meal deal! Don’t forget about the early New Year’s Eve countdown at FunworX at 6pm. There will also be a special guest appearance by the Paw Patrol crew!

Kingpin Cambridge is hosting a fun-filled New Year’s Eve party just for the kids! They’ll even be doing an early countdown at 8 pm! Choose from 2 different packages – Roll in the New Year or Party Like a Kingpin. Bluey makes an appearance from 3-5pm!
Tee in the New Year at Putt Social
Forget everything you thought you knew about mini golf—Putt Social’s 9-hole game is a high-tech, high-energy upgrade built for modern players! Lots of fun for families: their NYE package includes mini putt for 4, GameworX arcade cards, and a Pizza Family Meal Deal.
Noon Year Celebration at THEMUSEUM
Want to celebrate the new year with the kids, but know they won’t make it to midnight? Join THEMUSEUM for its annual Noon Year celebration where the balloon drop happens at 12PM – not 12AM!!
There will be music, balloons, and a “champagne” toast – everything you could wish for at a New Years Party! Tickets are required and can be purchased on THEMUSEUM’s website.

Get your tickets for a side-splitting night of stand-up comedy featuring 3 top comedians. Ring in the new year with laughter, good company, and a celebratory toast to the end of a hilarious year.
Cambridge Mill New Year’s Eve Party
Ring in the New Year with electric beats and bold Neon Noir décor for a truly unforgettable night in the Cambridge Mill’s Pavilion from 10 PM to 1 AM. DJ Jamie hits the stage at 9 PM, taking you straight into the New Year. Enjoy a cash bar and complimentary late-night snacks as you ring in 2026.
Tickets also provide access to cocktail hour in the Cambridge Mill’s lounge area, 11pm-2026.
NYE with Glass Tiger at Maxwell’s

Gift of Lights
Bingemans annual drive-through light display known as Gift of Lights features animated and static light displays, as well as two drive-through lights tunnels that are sure to illuminate your New Year’s Eve celebrations! Gift of Lights continues nightly through January 4th, 2025.
Wonders of Winter
Take in more than 100 colourful displays at Wonders of Winter in Waterloo Park from 5pm – 10:30pm daily until January 4, 2025. Enter off Seagram Dr by the ION station for best parking. Post your photos to #wondersofwinterwaterloo.
