Magical Morphos at the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory
Visit Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory during March Break and experience 1,000s of Blue Morpho butterflies in flight inside our tropical greenhouse. Blue Morpho butterflies are known for their intense, shimmering blue wings. That colour is created by microscopic wing scales that reflect light. KALEIDOSCOPE at THEMUSEUM
Step into a world of colour, light, and endless possibilities at THEMUSEUM. KALEIDOSCOPE is an interactive, immersive experience that invites you to explore a life-sized kaleidoscope, a swirling vortex, and watch yourself transform on a kaleidoscope TV.
Other exhibits at THEMUSEUM include The Playground – a space featuring art and technology at play! Modeled after a traditional playground, it includes soundscapes and projections that bring the outdoors inside.
Downtown Showdown with the OHL Kitchener Rangers
Calling all hockey lovers! March Break is set to be even more fun as this hockey-filled event takes over Downtown Kitchener. The Kitchener Rangers will play a live 3-on-3 game and showcase their skills in a friendly skills competition. You’ll have a chance to meet the Rangers for autographs, and don’t forget your camera to grab a photo with the Rangers’ mascot, Tex! Before and after the Rangers play, the Carl Zehr Square outdoor rink will be open for skating. There will also be a live DJ, free hot chocolate and maple taffy, free kids’ games, a chance to win fun prizes, food trucks and more!
Udderly Ridiculous Farm Life – Baby Goat Snuggles Experience

Chicopee Tube Park
Chicopee Tube Park in Kitchener offers snow tubing for the entire family. The park features a 900ft tubing slope and a magic carpet conveyor lift for easy hill access. The tube park is also open for night tubing, where thrill-seekers can glide down illuminated snowy slopes, enhancing the exhilarating experience of speeding down the 900ft hill after dark.

Centre in the Square presents the Irish Rovers in Concert
This year, St. Patrick’s Day falls during March Break – and there’s no better way to celebrate that with the Irish Rovers! The entire family will enjoy their blend of Celtic folk, storytelling, and humour. Perfectly timed for St. Patrick’s Day, this festive concert promises foot-stomping tunes, heartfelt ballads, and contagious Irish cheer.
