Explore Waterloo Region reflects on successful Ontario Summer Games

As the dust settles from last week’s Ontario Summer Games, Explore Waterloo Region is in the process of celebrating the successes and analyzing the impact of hosting the major sporting event.

“If I go off of subjectively the Games experience, what we heard was a lot of positive feedback from everyone we came across,” Scorgie said.

“We heard a lot of ‘one of the best Ontario Summer Games’ people have been to and ‘one of the best opening ceremonies’ people have been to. A lot of good things and I think from our side it ran really well.”
