2026 K-W Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade -Your Thanksgiving weekend just wouldn’t be the same without it. The Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade returns on Monday, October 12 at 9:30 a.m., filling the streets with music, colour, and community spirit.
For generations, families have gathered to experience dazzling floats, talented performers, favourite marching bands, and the festive energy that makes this one of Canada’s most beloved Thanksgiving traditions. Whether you’ve been attending for years or are creating new family memories, the Parade offers something for everyone. It’s a celebration of community, tradition, and togetherness that has become a treasured part of Thanksgiving weekend.

Parade Route
The parade begins at the corner of Weber Street East and Frederick Street, on Monday, October 12, 2026 at 9:30am!
The parade travels up Weber Street and finishes at the Bridgeport Road at the corner of Weber and Bridgeport around Noon.
Frederick Street is closed from Duke to Edna from 7:00am – 11am. Weber Street is closed Scott to Noecker starting at 9:20am and opens as the parade passes.
