Beyond the Threshold: Round Table Talk

This 2-hour, in-person round table talk will feature a variety of key speakers, including artists whose work is presented in Beyond the Threshold, community leaders directly working with unhoused communities, and members of the Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery (CC&GG) Staff.

Moderated by Peter Flannery (Senior Curator & Collections Manager) & Cheyenne Mapplebeck (Assistant Curator), the speakers will share knowledge, discuss the importance of social issues surrounding homelessness, and challenge participants with new ways of thinking and approaching the housing crisis. Speakers include artists Mohammad Tabesh and Matt Walker, A Better Tent City Site Coordinator Nadine Green, and WLU Associate Professor Erin Dej.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for our food drive in support of the Food Bank of Waterloo Region.

Parking for the event is free, and available on-site at the CC&GG.
