Two Evenings of Community-Powered Decolonization
You’re invited to two evenings of learning and conversation on building peace through decolonization, featuring Indigenous leader and justice advocate Sarah Augustine. Drawing from years of grassroots work, Sarah will offer practical insights on dismantling oppression and nurturing community healing.
She will be joined by:

Oct 1, 7–9 PM – Adrian Jacobs (Six Nations) at Shantz Mennonite Church, Baden

Co-hosted by Mennonite Central Committee Ontario, Coalition to Dismantle the Doctrine of Discovery, Mennonite Action, the Christian Reformed Church, and Kindred Credit Union Centre for Peace Advancement.
About the Speakers:
Sarah Augustine, a Pueblo (Tewa) descendant, leads the Coalition to Dismantle the Doctrine of Discovery and wrote The Land Is Not Empty.
Adrian Jacobs, Cayuga from Six Nations, is a spiritual leader and Indigenous justice educator.
Mennonite Action mobilizes faith communities for peace and justice through public witness.
