The Robert Langen Art Gallery is delighted to invite you to this year’s Empty Bowls event on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Lazaridis Hall, Wilfrid Laurier University. This annual fundraiser, presented in partnership with The Food Bank of Waterloo Region and the Waterloo Potters’ Workshop, directs all proceeds toward providing vital food assistance in our community.
With the purchase of a $50 ticket for either lunch or dinner, you’ll help provide 100 nutritious meals for the 73,600+ individuals in Waterloo Region who rely on food support programs. As part of this meaningful experience, you’ll select a handcrafted bowl—generously created and donated by local artisans from the Waterloo Potters’ Workshop—to use at the event and take home as a keepsake. Enjoy an array of gourmet soups prepared by local restaurants and caterers, all while making a tangible impact.
Lunch seating: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Dinner seating: 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m.
