Intro to Cross stitch at The Flying Squirrel in Waterloo

This is a beginner-friendly workshop to learn one of the simplest forms of embroidery – cross stitch. Learn how to cross stitch with an exciting handmade project on fabric and with a greeting card that you can take home and finish! Each participant will receive:

– a cross stitch fabric design with pattern instructions – we will have a variety of original designs for you to select when you arrive on fabric and on paper!
– a wooden embroidery hoop – a variety of sizes from 4-inch to 6-inch will be available
– fabric cloth
– DMC embroidery floss
– tapestry needle
