Learning Made Fun: Free Hands-On STEM Event for Kids

Learning Made Fun is bringing a free afternoon of hands-on STEM exploration to Waterloo for kids ages 7–11!
Participants will rotate through six interactive STEM stations where they’ll launch straw rockets, investigate colour-changing chemistry, build paper circuits, explore invisible UV light, make their own oobleck, and prepare a crystal-growing experiment to take home.
The event also features a live science show filled with demonstrations, predictions, and audience participation, followed by the Great Bridge Challenge, where teams will design, build, and test their own bridges.
Learning Made Fun is designed to give kids the opportunity to experience STEM by actually touching, building, testing, and creating—not just watching.
Participation is completely free, but registration is required and space is limited.
