Leather Work – Making a leather belt from scratch

Learn how to make a leather belt from start to finish in a hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop.

This class takes place in my workshop in St. Jacobs, where you’ll be guided through each step — from cutting and sizing to edge finishing and attaching hardware. No experience is necessary, and all tools and materials for your first belt are provided.

You’ll be able to choose from a range of leather colours and hardware finishes to create something that suits your style. If you’d like to make more than one belt during the session, additional materials will be available for purchase.

This is a practical, small-group class focused on learning by doing. You’ll leave with a finished belt and a clear understanding of how it’s made.
