Leather Work – Making a leather tote bag from scratch

Learn how to make a leather tote bag from start to finish in a hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop.
This class takes place in my workshop in St. Jacobs, where you’ll be guided through each step — from cutting and layout to hand-stitching, attaching handles, and finishing details. No experience is necessary, and all tools and materials are provided.
You’ll be able to choose from a range of leather colours, strap options, and hardware finishes to create something that suits your style. There are also a few handle styles to choose from, including fixed-length and adjustable options, and you can adjust the size of your tote as needed.
This is a practical, small-group class focused on learning by doing. You’ll leave with a finished tote bag and a clear understanding of how it’s made.
