Let’s Take It Back – 90’s & Early 2000’s R&B x Hip Hop x Soul Experience

Let’s Take It Back is the official kickoff to On The Way to the Cookout, the pre-festival gathering series leading up to Momma’s Cookout & Music Festival. This opening night sets the tone with a nostalgic, feel-good live journey through the golden era of ’90s and 2000s R&B and Hip Hop.

Expect smooth vocals, clever mashups, and nonstop hits from artists like TLC, Usher, Jay-Z, Lauryn Hill, Aaliyah, Justin Timberlake and more — all brought to life by Momma’s Kitchen, Kitchener’s premier live party band. Known for high-energy performances and crowd-favourite sing-along moments, the band blends Soul, R&B, Hip Hop, and classics into one unforgettable live experience.

After the live show, stay for the afterparty, Throwback Friday’s Hosted by TJ with DJ Whitegold, keeping the energy going with the hits you know and visuals to match.
