Lover’s Eyes – Tiny Oil Portraits

In this beginner‑friendly, 2.5‑hour workshop by Salma Abdulaziz, you’ll work on miniature panels, learning simple steps for drawing and painting an eye in tone and colour. All materials are provided. Bring a photo of a loved one’s eye (or your own), or choose from curated references, and leave with a small, jewel‑like painting to treasure or gift.

This workshop is one of eight in the Making it Tiny Workshops Series by the new Tiny Ass Art Gallery in St. Jacobs – 8 artists will guide participants in different media, resulting in lovely small works to take home. Tiny Ass Art Gallery is a collective of 15 local women artists where art focusses on the idea of tiny in scale and subject matter.

• This workshop takes place at Neruda Arts in St. Jacobs. You will receive an email 1 week prior to your workshop regarding directions and parking.
• Neruda Arts is wheelchair accessible (via elevator).
• This workshop is for people 12 years +.
• Maximum of 10 students.
