Through heartfelt storytelling, Amir reflects on his family’s journey from Pakistan to rural Ontario. Guided by Islamic values, his story offers a spiritual perspective on finding goodness in others, learning from life’s experiences, and creating a sense of belonging in new surroundings.

Drawn from CMW’s Hate Reporting System and local police statistics, learn about emerging trends, the human impact behind the numbers, and how communities can take meaningful action to foster safety and belonging for all.

With her extensive experience in community engagement and interfaith collaboration, Abiha explores how diverse communities can come together to support one another, amplify underrepresented voices, and create inclusive spaces where everyone feels a sense of belonging.
