Rare BioBlitz 2026
Join us for a community BioBlitz at rare on Saturday August 15, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Become a community scientist by joining expert-led hikes throughout the day to learn how to find and identify different species – plants, insects, birds, amphibians, reptiles, and more – then share your observations through iNaturalist. No prior experience is necessary to participate – all nature lovers will find plenty to discover and enjoy. If you prefer to hit the trails independently, your iNaturalist observations will still contribute to the BioBlitz. Together, we’ll identify and catalogue as many species as possible on the properties!
Participants will be provided with coffee, snacks, and a catered lunch. Join us for the morning, the afternoon, or both! You can register for the walk(s) of your choice at the event.
