Robert Langen Art Gallery – Fall Exhibition Reception

As a public university based art gallery, Robert Langen Art Gallery offers diverse annual exhibition programs, activities and events which fosters creative thinking, critical debate and the exploration of ideas. You are invited to be part of the gallery’s Fall Exhibition Reception with the artists of their current exhibits – Nîkânitisaham ᓃᑳᓂᑎᓴᐦᐊᒼ S/he Sends It Ahead by artist Jason Baerg, and Question or Answer? by local photographers Stephen Edgar, Joe Martz, and Robert Waldeck.

Nîkânitisaham ᓃᑳᓂᑎᓴᐦᐊᒼ S/he Sends It Ahead, explores the possibilities and established narratives that intertwine the natural and celestial realms with human experience, as offered from a Métis perspective. Drawing upon rich cultural heritage, the exhibition emphasizes our collective relationships and connections to the environment, shaping our present and guiding us into the future.

Question or Answer? brings together three local photographers who explore the complexities of life. Finding beauty, observations, and humor in our ever-changing environments. Through their creative images they invite viewers to see the unnoticed and uncontrolled world around us .LIFT is a community outreach program which highlights the creative talents of artists from the Region of Waterloo.
