Gabriela, who works under the name “Hay Pan,” is a Chilean visual artist based in Canada since 2019. She has collaborated on mural projects with Indigenous artist Philip Cote and exhibited in spaces such as Superwonder Gallery, Casa Maíz, and the Hispanic Canadian Heritage Council in Toronto.
Her practice, currently based in Kitchener, is multidisciplinary, with a primary focus on painting. She experiments with unconventional materials and diverse techniques, creating works that blend humour, cultural critique, and a nostalgic view of contemporary life.
