Summertime Cream Tea at McDougall Cottage

A simpler, lighter alternative to our regular full tea, McDougall’s NEW Summertime Cream Tea is perfect for those looking for a relaxed and unhurried taste of tea-time tradition.
Whether you’re catching up with a friend or taking a quiet moment just for yourself, a Cream Tea at McDougall Cottage is a lovely way to slow down and savour the day.
Each Cream Tea includes a bottomless pot of tea or refreshing lemonade in a delicate china cup, served with a scone, preserves and whipped cream, and two button shortbread.
Afterward, guests are welcome to stroll through our heritage garden or visit our newest exhibit, Snapshots in Time: Nostalgia and Memory.

The cost for this tasty treat is an affordable $14.95 per person, plus HST. Tickets are also available for in-person purchase at the Cottage during McDougall’s hours of operation. Tickets are non-refundable.

Our new Cream Teas are available by pre-registration and guests are welcome to drop in anytime between 11 am and 1:30 p.m.
