The City of Cambridge invites you to experience the world of The Handmaid’s Tale.
Under His Eye: The Gilead Experience runs from October 22 – November 6, 2025. It offers visitors the chance to explore city streets, buildings, and businesses where the Emmy Award-winning series was filmed.
A self-guided tour highlights key filming locations featured in the series and an exhibition at City Hall campus features iconic props and costumes. From Commander Waterford’s office and the striking red cloaks to Queen’s Square and the banks of the Grand River, the tour and exhibition will give visitors a unique opportunity to see the city through the lens of the film industry.

Visit the exhibition at City Hall campus October 22 – November 6. Displays will be at City Hall and the Cambridge Centre for the Arts. Note: some exhibits will only be available to view during regular business hours due to the location of the displays.
