Wire Wrap Pendant Workshop

Add personality to your favourite bag with a handmade charm that’s completely unique to you. In this creative, hands-on workshop, you’ll design and build your own custom bag charm using a mix of new and repurposed materials.

We’ll start by creating a soft, textured element using upcycled fabric or t-shirt material, which you’ll cut and braid before attaching it to your charm ring. From there, you’ll explore basic jewelry-making techniques—learning how to use tools like pliers, crimpers, and jump rings to attach beautiful beads to wire.

Next, you’ll design another charm element using thicker cord and statement beads for a bold, layered look. To finish it off, you’ll add chain segments and charms, connecting everything together to create a dynamic, multi-textured piece.

Throughout the workshop, you’ll have access to a large selection of beads, charms, chains, and repurposed materials to make your charm truly one-of-a-kind. You’ll also learn tips for sourcing and transforming thrifted jewelry—like old necklaces—into new creative pieces.
