Pumpkins, Produce & Plenty of Heart: Fall Harvest Farm
What started as a roadside pumpkin stand (started by a little girl who was trying to raise money to buy a Holly Hobbie Easy-Bake Oven) has blossomed into one of Waterloo Region’s favourite family-run farm markets.
Fall Harvest Farm has grown a lot since Rosemary McCormick first sold pumpkins at the age of nine. Today, she and her husband Ron have passed the business reins on to their six kids, who now run the bustling farm store that is open from June through December. Fall Harvest Farm is deeply rooted in family values, and every season brings something new to discover.
In summer, the market brims with Ontario-grown goodness: sweet corn, tomatoes, beans, peas, zucchini, and more. As the weather cools, the farm transforms into a fall-lover’s paradise! Their creative outdoor displays (perfect for a selfie!) feature over 30 varieties of pumpkins and squash grown right on the farm – in every shape, size, and colour imaginable. When the holidays roll around, the Christmas Market takes over with trees, wreaths, planters, and festive décor to help make spirits bright.
Fall Harvest Farm also champions other local producers. The market showcases over 30 Ontario products, from honey and maple syrup to eggs, meats, cheeses, and preserves. It’s a one-stop shop for those who love to eat local and support small businesses.
More than a market, Fall Harvest Farm is a place where families return year after year, where traditions grow alongside the crops, and where curiosity is always welcome. Ask how a pumpkin grows or where the eggs come from—they’re happy to share.
This is your invitation to slow down, shop local, and enjoy the season at Fall Harvest Farm – part of the Fields & Flavours Trail.
