Cambridge Public Library supports and inspires the exploration of reading, arts, innovation, and learning. Cambridge Public Library is also home to Cambridge Art Galleries, offering exhibitions, programs, and a permanent collection of contemporary Canadian fibre art. 


Visit our 5 unique library locations throughout the city: 

Queen’s Square: this branch holds the largest collection and features the main art gallery.  

Old Post Office: a digital-focused library featuring a Children’s Discovery Centre, creative studios, and a balcony overlooking the Grand River.   

Preston: featuring a fireplace, community garden, a Seed Library, and a Tool Library. 

Hespeler: a modern glass structure integrated into a 100-year-old Carnegie library building. 

Clemens Mill: located within St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School, featuring maker space, gaming equipment, and an Active Living collection.
