Put the joy back in shopping at the St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market. More than just the fantastic food and crafts, it’s also the fun of discovering the bounty of things to see, taste, smell. For others, it’s the festive vibe, visiting their favourite vendors, and knowing where their food comes from that makes weekly trips to market so enjoyable.
Known as Canada’s largest year-round farmers’ market, find hundreds of local vendors inside three main buildings and in an outdoor area that swells as the growing season progresses.
Some items are brought to the market by the truckload; others arrive by horse & buggy from local Old Order Mennonite farms. Discover fresh local fruits and vegetables, quality meats and cheeses, locally-produced maple syrup, honey, preserves, baking, authentic cuisine from many cultures, imported produce, various gluten-free and organic options, local crafts, housewares, wearables, and more.
The St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market is well-loved for its ready-to-eat foods prepared on site too: try some fresh apple fritters, sausage on a bun, donair kebab, pizza, souvlaki, falafel, to name only a few. Prepare to fill up and stock up when you visit the St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market.
The St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market is located in the Township of Woolwich, 3 km south of St. Jacobs.
