The Fields & Flavours Trail

Golden milk, straight from the source at Eby Manor Farm

Just outside of the city in Waterloo Region’s rolling countryside, Eby Manor Farm is a family-run dairy with a passion for premium, farm-fresh milk. This is dairy done differently: small-scale, nutrient-rich, and full of heart.

The Eby family has made quality their mission since day one. Jim and Ruth Eby manage the business side of Eby Manor, while their son Ben and his wife Sheri oversee the daily farm operations. Alongside extended family and a small, dedicated team, they care for a herd of purebred Guernsey cows—chosen for the breed’s exceptional milk.

Golden Guernsey milk is the star of the show at Eby Manor’s farm market, available in 2%, 4.8% whole milk, chocolate milk, and 10% cream. Its distinctive golden hue comes from naturally high beta-carotene levels, and the A2 beta-casein protein it contains makes this milk easier for many people to digest — offering a delicious, wholesome alternative to conventional milk.

At the on-farm market you’ll also find cheeses including Havarti and cheddar, creamy yogurt, and the friendly faces of the staff who are always happy to share the Eby Manor story. Whether you drop by the farm market or spot Eby Manor’s signature glass bottles at local retailers, you’ll always know where your milk came from—and who helped produce it. You might even see Jim making deliveries himself – a personal touch that speaks volumes to the Eby family’s commitment to their customers.

When you head out on the Fields & Flavours Trail, don’t miss the chance to stop by Eby Manor Farm to find out what makes Golden Guernsey milk so special!
